Welcome to Womanhood™
A Meaningful Journey

Becoming a woman is a sacred and transformative time in a girl’s life. It brings with it a host of physical, emotional, and spiritual changes—each one an opportunity for growth, self-discovery, and connection to something greater. In today’s world, many girls are left to navigate this stage with confusion, discomfort, or misinformation.
Welcome to Womanhood™ is a unique program created to guide girls through this stage with clarity, sensitivity, and dignity. Rooted in Jewish Values but tailored for a variety of traditional or faith based cultures. This program offers a nurturing environment where girls can learn about their changing bodies and inner selves with honesty, reverence, creativity and joy.

Why This Program Matters

Imbuing empowerment, creativity, and fun into lessons that are guided by values and morals. this education help to clearly and honestly introduce girls to an understanding of this special time of life as they mature into womanhood.

Maturation has always been a complex journey but today’s girls face unprecedented challenges in a world shaped by social media, social pressure, instant access to the internet and rapidly shifting cultural norms.

This program answers the urgent call for clear, honest and spiritually grounded guidance, offering young girls a safe, respectful space to learn about their changing bodies.

Since its inception in 2014 with the counsel of respected elders, Welcome to Womanhood has been endorsed by the administration of the Chabad Girls Yeshiva of Pittsburgh, PA, and decades of parents and students.

The course is dedicated to uplifting the experience of becoming a woman through open conversations rooted in timeless biblical values. My goal is to help each girl feel proud, confident, and beautiful and safe as they enter into this important stage of life.

Flexible for Faith-Based Traditional Communities & Schools

While this course is originally designed for Jewish schools and rooted in Torah values, the curriculum is thoughtfully structured to allow adaptation for other religious and spiritual frameworks. With sensitivity to each community’s unique beliefs and traditions, the core themes of dignity, self-awareness, modesty, and personal growth can be tailored to align with a wide range of faith-based values—ensuring that every girl receives meaningful, respectful, and spiritually conscious education during this formative stage of life.

What mothers and girls are saying about
Welcome to Womanhood

Chana Luba did a wonderful job presenting this delicate and important subject to my daughter’s class. In a direct and modest way, she explained to the girls how their bodies are preparing for womanhood. It was all done through the beautiful outlook and Torah perspective. She encouraged discussion at home and open communication. Thank you for a job well done.

I feel like the class is my dictionary in a good way. It answered all of everyone’s
questions nicely and fully so we understood it. You didn’t need to feel embarrassed to ask anything! The bottom line is I really liked this class and I would definitely recommend this class for 6th and 5th grade next year.
