Common Questions Women Ask Before Reaching Out

Can I talk to you even if I’m already pregnant?

Yes. Many women reach out when they are already pregnant and navigating a difficult or confusing situation with their care provider. This consultation is meant to give you space to talk through what you’re experiencing and help you think through your options.

What if I was told I can’t have a VBAC?

Many women are told certain birth options are not possible without fully understanding the context behind that recommendation. During a consultation, we can talk through your situation and help you better understand what questions to ask and what possibilities may exist.

Is this consultation only for VBAC situations?

Not at all. Some women reach out after a previous difficult birth, others are feeling pressured into decisions they are not comfortable with, and some simply need clarity about their options. The goal is to provide support and perspective during a moment that can feel overwhelming.

What happens during the consultation?

We will talk through your situation in detail. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, process what you’ve been told, and explore what steps might help you move forward with more clarity and confidence.

What others are saying

Chana Luba was the most amazing person to have onboard with my last pregnancy. I went in a bit anxious as my previous pregnancy landed in an emergency C-section. I asked Chana to coach me as I wanted to have a VBAC. She was the most amazing coach I could have asked for. Throughout the pregnancy my practitioner would scare me on different topics. And every time I brought it back to Chana Luba to gain that confidence back. She gave me the ability to make decisions that worked for me. I was the priority not the system. With Chana Luba’s coaching, I did indeed have a VBAC against all odds. Besides for being an amazing coach she has such a calm, peaceful, safe and fun vibe to her it makes it quite an enjoyable hang.

Chana Luba was incredibly helpful to me when I came for a consultation shortly before I gave birth. Her wealth of knowledge and reassuring presence put me at ease right away. I walked out feeling both empowered and excited to have the birth experience that I wanted! She encouraged me to speak up if anything didn’t feel right along the way. I highly recommend a consultation with her during your pregnancy, you will undoubtedly gain tremendously from all that she has to offer!
Mushky 2nd time mom
You were the guide for me on this journey that was my birth. You were there to lead the way when what I needed was to be shown what to do, where to go and how to get there. You were my translator when I encountered situations and people and did not know how to understand or what to do with what they were saying. You spoke for me when I couldn’t t speak for myself, you intuitively knew what I wanted and were my advocate.

You helped me to realize that there were no wrong steps, that everything that happened was just another part of my path, and that the journey was no less beautiful or perfect when it wasn’t what I expected it to be. What you gave to me, what you give to the women you encounter, is a gift of the most pure and holy kind.

Bottom of the Ninth
Emergency Birth Consultations

Sometimes things shift quickly at the end of pregnancy.

Many women find themselves in time-sensitive situations where they realize they may not be as prepared as they thought, or their options—or even their provider—have suddenly changed. These moments can feel overwhelming and require immediate attention.

This can be especially frightening if you are being told that you or your baby may be, or could be, in danger.

You do not have to navigate that moment alone.

A Bottom of the Ninth Consultation is designed for situations where you need experienced, grounded support—quickly.

How it works:
• You submit a request with your contact information
• Any records, lab work, or health information can be sent ahead of time (not required, but helpful)
• You sign a disclosure acknowledging that I am not replacing your medical provider, but offering objective information and support in understanding your options
• My role is to help you sort through the pros and cons, provide rapid education, and support you in informed decision-making and self-advocacy
• Once initial payment is completed and a card is on file, we can begin discussing your situation in real time
• Sessions are billed in 15-minute increments
• We can connect by phone or video, depending on what works best in the moment
• I make myself as available as possible during your situation

Birth Trauma Transformation
Program Overview

A deeper journey into healing, self-discovery, and renewal.

Different from Birth Consultations, Birth Trauma Transformation is a guided program designed for deeper emotional processing and reflection. Moving beyond facts and timelines, we explore the deeper layers of your experience, creating space for healing, self-discovery, and lasting transformation.

Session 1:
Clinical Review & Emotional Reflection

We begin with a thorough, objective review of clinical records from your previous birth(s). This session is grounded in medical knowledge and childbirth expertise, helping you understand what happened from a physiological perspective. In parallel, we explore the emotional story—the thoughts, feelings, and experiences that accompanied your physical birth journey.

This session offers both clarity and validation—allowing your story to be seen, heard, and understood in full.

Session 2:
Identifying Triggers & Building Tools

Building on your personal narrative, we’ll work to identify specific emotional or situational triggers that arose during or after your previous birth. Together, we create a personalized plan to:
• Avoid unnecessary triggers
• Minimize what can’t be avoided
• Creatively prepare for challenging scenarios

The goal is to shift from feeling “at the mercy” of systems and circumstances to feeling equipped, confident, and in control.

Session 3:
Affirmation Creation & Art Therapy

In this session, we move into creative healing. You’ll craft personal affirmations to help build a resilient, empowered mindset as you approach future experiences. We also introduce art therapy as a tool to:
• Process trauma in a non-verbal, intuitive way
• Reframe your story
• Reignite your innate power and connection to birth as a sacred and transformative experience

You don’t just revisit your story—you begin to rewrite your relationship to it.

Session 4:
Personalized Trauma Release Hypnosis

A customized hypnosis session is tailored to your specific experience. This session aims to gently release stored trauma, reduce anxiety, and create new neural pathways of safety and strength.

This is a powerful, healing step toward liberation from past pain and fear.

Session 5:
Hypnosis for Future Birth Preparation

In the final session, I guide you through a second, forward-looking hypnosis session focused on preparing the mind and body for a future birth experience.

This includes:
• Creating a positive, confident vision of future birth
• Strengthening trust in your body and intuition
• Embedding affirmations and tools for use during labor

What You’ll Receive
• 5 private, one-on-one sessions (virtual or in-person options available)
• Personalized trauma release and preparation hypnosis sessions
• Custom affirmations and planning tools
• Therapeutic art exercises for emotional processing
• Support from a practitioner trained in both clinical birth care and emotional trauma work
